"The project examines the site of Eilat Airport, established when the town was founded during the 1950s and recently closed and replaced by Ramon Airport, 20km from the city. The planning seeks to link the human and urban fabrics that are severed by the vast expanse of the airport, creating an unusual urban situation, where separation is created in all aspects of life, between the town of Eilat and the tourist area. The research and site analysis phase focused on searching affter the character and unique features of the town as an edge town, beach town, and recreational town in its architecture, geography, and human aspect."
