People are forced to deal environmental and behavioral changes such as social distancing, Information overload and an ever-growing tension between the physical and virtual. Their movement watched and is not free in the space controlled by “The Eye” Corporation. DATALOPOLIS raises the question of how will architecture and planning change in light of this new reality? In what way will the urban, private and common space change? How to overcome the effects of social distancing and controlled space? What is the place of the virtual space and how will it fill the void? The project discusses dichotomous concepts such as connection-detachment, physical-virtual, dystopia-utopia and provides interpretation which combines the two and births potential for new spaces and activities in the new era.
