"Links is an urban space located in Tel Aviv's old central bus station and deals with the issue of urban childhood in a weakened urban fabric. The project was designed for the populations of the area to create a social-cultural encounter in the city. The site was selected due to two main characteristics: firstly, it is surrounded by communities of different cultures; secondly, because it is an urban wilderness representing the disconnect between its edges. Intervention in this site allows creating an urban, social, and physical sequence. The program was selected according to the residents' needs in the current context, combined with the implementation of an architectural language that refers to the site's character. This project seeks to create a place that is both a home and a city, and is embracing diverse cultures, beliefs, and traditions – an enveloping and secure space. It looks to achieve that through educational and architectural anchors while creating an affiliation and context between the residents of the area, South Tel Aviv, and the residents of the city center."
