My project deals with the complexity of the LGBTQ+ identity. Even at the 21st century, LGBTQ+ phobia still exists, whether between dark and extreme people who express it with extreme violence such as terror attacks, whether through the incitement of people of religion and the recognition of the community members as sinners, or through politicians from both ends of the political map who do not recognize the rights of LGBTQ+ people and defend them. The acceptance on the part of the general population has increased, but nevertheless there is still a great lack of acceptance in various parts of Israel and the world. I would like to dedicate the 12 acres of my site to a multitude of LGBTQ+ activities, related to our lifestyle, our recognition, our heritage, our daily activities and the complexity of our identities. We as a community are made up of many sexual orientations and gender identities, each of which has its own needs and makes up a mosaic or a rainbow of colors. The project will include a complete life course from coming out of the closet to the third age in the community.
