The “Nachalat Avot” project is located in Nahal Zalmon – an agricultural and cultural landscape of historic flour mills interspersed among the olive groves. The purpose of the project is to combine two actions: conservation and development, to link the history of the flour mills and the past of the fathers who planted the trees, to the future of the sons and grandsons who sit in their midst, to go back to the roots of the Palestinian farmer and strengthen the attachment to the heritage and the land, using architectural tools based on natural resources.
