The project offers a new alternative to the form of absorption in Israel and the integration of the new immigrants (olim) in the Israeli urban space. This by creating a building scheme as part of the existing urban system, which integrates programs from everyday life such as residential, office space, retail, leisure, education and public space. Daily life plays an important role in the integration of immigrants into the community. This is the place where they are exposed to the local community and create new social and local relationships.The daily life has a wide range of forms, from the interaction at the supermarket between shoppers to meeting neighbors on the way home or a conversation between two coworkers. This range has great potential to allow immigrants to integrate well and become an integral part of society. The concept of ‘everyday life’ can be seen in different ways throughout the project, from the various programs to the various public and semi-public spaces, which enable spontaneous meetings between immigrants and the local community.
