The project 'Transition' deals with the tension between the contrasts about the past in Tel Aviv-Jaffa. The contradictions between preserving and embalming the past versus the creative destruction of capitalism in the public space between Neve Tzedek and Hazut Beit. The site takes place in the seam space as a meeting area between the urban business center and the neighborhood for preservation from the end of the 19th century. The project will create a 'Transition' space between the new world and the old world that will be emphasized with the help of cinematic tools and film production. Also, the transition to another world that exists in the cinema, will take place in the building through the experience of movement and view which are the pillars of the architecture in the project. The movement meetings are created between opposing worlds and between inside and outside in the space of the seam. In addition, Rothschild Blvd ends at The Habima Square – the Israeli Culture Square. The project will create an architectural and conceptual beginning for Rothschild Boulevard and offer a three-dimensional public space that creates encounters and a complex relationship with a public structure that contains opportunities for urban events. The project area is in public ownership on the most expensive land in the State of Israel. It will be symbolic to construct a building in this area that engraves on its flag the value of the public which is the most important for residents, tourists, and the city. The vision project is to form the center of the public culture "the new Gymnasium" of the city.
