SETTING is a new model for creating a supportive environment for trauma treatment through psychotherapy and psychoactive substances. It examines how architecture can contribute to the healing process. Treatment with psychedelic substances is currently in research and regulatory stages and requires unique conditions of space, nature, and interaction that allow for processing and changing thought patterns in a tailored environment. In my design, I aimed to raise awareness of this type of treatment and to promote its integration into the healthcare system and the community. The project is conceived as a connecting space between the Sheba Medical Center and the residential neighborhood being developed nearby. The site is located in an enchanting eucalyptus grove and presents a contemporary approach to connecting environment, society, and the healthcare system.
