The project deals with the phenomenon of the abandonment of the craft industry in the craft compound in Tel Aviv-Jaffa and it’s consequences. It also offers to relieve the use of the compound to it’s original target in an academic way so that the craft labor won’t be repulsed as it is these days and to lead the craft industry to renew itself and be modernistic in a flowing and a permanent manner. In the modern era, the craft is withdrawn to a dangerous situation since it’s being repulsed to the far edges of the city and as much as far away from the population in the same way that the Craft Compound in Tel Aviv-Jaffa was made to move the craft out of the inner circles of the city to it’s south-side. In our era, when there is a lack of spatial, academic, social and economic attention to the individual, the project offers an academic campus which is meant to be used for the purpose of teaching the craft professions and also gives the opportunity for the students to physically and academically apply what they learn practically
